Partners

There are several organizations in the Colorado legal community that are committed to increasing diversity in the legal profession and with whom CCIE regularly works in partnership, including:

  • Deans' Diversity Council (DDC)                                                                                                         

  • Colorado Pledge to Diversity Legal Group                                                                                                  

  • Specialty Bar Associations

Each of these groups takes responsibility for critical diversity initiatives and works closely with CCIE to take all diversity efforts to the next level.  Click here for a table listing all diversity organizations in Denver, their roles, and leaders.

CCIE is also partnering with a new Colorado Bar Association Committee -- the 2020 Law Firm Initiative -- which is studying balanced hours schedules in law firms.  This committee sponsored a debate on whether balanced law firm practice represents a utopia or a pipedream.  Click on the program flyer for more information.

Welcome Denver is a new initiative sponsored by several prominent corporations and the Denver Chamber of Business.  Welcome Denver is an effort to retain mid- to upper-level executives of color who are new to Denver through quarterly meetings and networking receptions that foster cultural connections to the Denver area.  For more information about Welcome Denver, go to www.welcomedenver.net.
